| This purpose built facility brings together old world charm with modern functionality to provide a unique venue for special rustic dining events or private camping. The capacity is limited to 40 for day/evening use, and 24 for private camping groups.
The Barn was built during 2007. It consists of a 12 by 6 metre barn, with a kitchen, including a wood fired oven, gas hob and sink with hot water, and trestle tables. Nearby there is a fire pit with benches, and a toilet block consisting of two showers (hot and cold water) and two toilets, including one 'disabled'.
A few metres away is a 'ceremonial deck' which can form a focus for a special event, with the back drop of the Swan River Estuary and Great Oyster Bay - particularly spectacular at sunset.
The standing camp consists of twelve two man canvas tents set on platforms in the vicinity of the Barn. Mattresses and bedding packs are available for hire. Rates depend on duration of stay (3 night minimum), number in the group, and facilities required. Bookings are for private groups only.
