By road Mt Paul is some 9 km North of Coles Bay, 30 km South of Bicheno, and 52 km East of Swansea.

There is a twice daily bus service between Bicheno and Coles Bay, with a shuttle to the Freycinet National Park walking tracks. This service stops at the intersection between the Tasman Highway and the Coles Bay Road, where connections can be made with Tasmanian Redline and TWT's Tassielink Coaches/Buses. The bus service passes the end of the Mt Paul access road, but it not practical to think of using this service for attendance at events at Mt Paul as it is infrequent, and leaves guests with a 4 km walk up the hill!

There is however a charter service available based in Coles Bay, and event organisers and guests are encouraged to make use of this as it avoids travelling on our gravel roads and meeting animals on the highway at night after an event.

There are no rental cars available in Coles Bay or the Freycinet National Park. Car rentals need to be arranged in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport or other regional centres.
